Workspaces, members and guests
A workspace is your team or organization. It holds your spaces and anything published from code, and it's what a plan is billed to.
Everyone gets a personal workspace when they sign up. Make more for a team, a client or a side project.
Roles

| Owner | Everything, including billing and managing other owners. A workspace always keeps at least one. |
| Admin | Rename the workspace, invite and remove members, change the plan |
| Member | Make spaces and publish from code, edit the workspace's spaces and update their apps |
Guests aren't a workspace role. A guest is someone added to one space; they see only that space.
Inviting people
Owners and admins invite from the workspace's Members page (also in the account menu):
- Invite link. Choose the role and how long the link lasts (1, 7 or 30 days). Share it anywhere; whoever opens it signs in and joins. Make it single use, or add an email address so it works once and only for that address. The link is shown once, when it's made, because only a hash is stored. Turn it off at any time.
- By handle. For someone who already has an account. They accept the invite the next time they open Cloudtifact.
Seats
A seat is one member of the workspace. Owners, admins and members each take one; guests and pending invites don't. When every seat on the plan is taken, nobody new can join until an admin upgrades or removes someone. See Plans and billing.
