Apps
An app is what a space builds from its docs: a working app with its own database, which Publish hosts.
Every space can build one app from its docs. The space keeps the docs, files and comments; the app is the runnable thing it produces. It sits in the space's list of pages, marked APP.
Preview
Press + next to Pages and choose App to build the first version. After that, Update preview reads the docs and builds a new version: its pages and a database schema. Each build is a new preview version with its own copy of the database, so trying things never touches the published app. Rebuild after the docs change, or describe a change in the box next to the button.
Publishing
Publish puts the latest preview at the app's address. Only the space's owners can publish. Choose who can use it:

Later builds stay in preview until you press Publish version N. In the publishing settings, Go back to this puts an earlier published version back, and Pause takes the app offline without deleting it.
Owning your app
Export code + data downloads the app as a standalone project (Hono on Cloudflare Workers with a D1
database) that you can deploy to your own Cloudflare account with wrangler deploy.
