# Publish from ChatGPT and Claude, and answer the comments there too.

Cloudtifact runs a remote MCP server at `https://mcp.cloudtifact.com/mcp`. Add it to ChatGPT or Claude once, sign in with your Cloudtifact account, and ask in plain words.

## Connect once

- **Claude (web, desktop, mobile).** Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, and paste the address.
- **ChatGPT.** Settings → Apps, add a custom app in developer mode, and paste the address.

The first time, a Cloudtifact page says which app is asking. Sign in and approve; there's no key to copy. You can revoke it from Settings on the website, like a CLI sign-in. Full steps: [Connect an AI app (MCP)](/docs/mcp).

## What you can ask for

| Ask | What happens |
| --- | --- |
| "Publish this as a page" | The page the chat made goes to a new space, private to your workspace or public, and you get the link. |
| "What did people say about the pricing page?" | It reads the open comment threads on that space. |
| "Tell them it's fixed and close it" | It replies and resolves, signed "@you via Claude" or "via ChatGPT". |
| "What's in the sign-up sheet?" | It reads the space's database with a read-only query. |

It can do what you can do in your workspaces, and nothing more.

## Why MCP here, and a CLI elsewhere

Chat apps can't run the `cloudtifact` CLI: some have no terminal, and the ones with a code sandbox can't reach Cloudtifact or keep you signed in. Coding agents can, so they use the [plugin](/claude-code) instead. Both call the same API. See [Integrations](/integrations).
